Vienna Forrester exhibits in our main gallery and The Pixel Pod with

Icons: A Fractal Exploration of the East Yorkshire Coast. Vienna says

"My interest in and observation of patterns in the natural world led to my multimedia work with fractals

Icons focusses on our fascination with rocks and pebbles which spans every culture. There is something very calming and uplifting about beachcombing and exploring rockpools.  From the distinctive chalk of Flamborough to the imagined sea creatures that inhabit the shallows, Icons is a fractal celebration of our local natural treasures".

In our new smaller gallery we have work by Sudeshna Chattopadhyay

Sudeshna Says

"My current body of paintings draw on my life-long love of folk art imagery, outsider art, fabric collections, surface pattern designs  and personal experiences to construct mind maps of my inner journeys. I end up telling stories through my work which sometimes even surprise me.

I use acrylics and oils to work in an intuitive and playful way exploring their materiality.

I think of Peter Doig, Henri Matisse, Marc Chagall amongst many others when I work".
